Holsten-Quartier: Die SSN Group und der Bezirk Altona erarbeiten neue Eckpunkte für den Bau von 1400 Wohnungen
Am Mittwoch, den 15. Mai wurde in der abendlichen Sitzung im Planungsausschuss der Bezirksversammlung Altona der Stand der Neuplanung auf dem Areal der Holsten-Brauerei vorgestellt und diskutiert. Die SSN Group hat mit dem Bezirk den Bau von 1400 Wohnungen in zehn Gebäudeblöcken vereinbart, davon 50 Prozent gefördert. 20 Prozent der Geschossflächen stehen Baugemeinschaften zur Verfügung. Damit wurden für die Neuplanung des Quartiers auf dem traditionsreichen Gelände im Herzen von Altona die Rahmendaten festgezurrt.Continue reading
SSN Group: International Building Exhibition 2027 - VAI CAMPUS in Stuttgart-Vaihingen nominated as official project
The VAI CAMPUS quarter, implemented by SSN Group in the Stuttgart district of Vaihingen, was nominated as an IBA'27 quarter by the Supervisory Board of the International Building Exhibition 2027 StadtRegion Stuttgart (IBA'27). Around the listed "Eiermann Ensemble", residential, office and commercial units with a total rental and sales area of approximately 190,000 square metres will be constructed on the 14.5-hectare site by the year 2025. This showcase is currently one of the largest residential construction projects in Stuttgart. The Supervisory Board of CONSUS Real Estate has appointed Theo Gorens (51) as an additional member of the Management Board of Consus with effect from 1 May 2019. Theo Gorens will take up the responsibilities of the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) as well as the Deputy-CFO. SSN Group: “The Wilhelm” in Berlin - construction work is picking up speed
SSN Group is currently implementing several ambitious new construction projects in Berlin. In the heart of the German capital, the real estate project developer is building the residential project "The Wilhelm" in addition to the Bundesallee quarter in Wilmersdorf and the Franklin House in Charlottenburg. After the delay of the excavation of the pit due to extraordinarily problematic soil conditions on the site, the special civil engineering works can now be started. SSN Group: Start of construction of the Franklin House in Berlin Charlottenburg
Berlin, 29th March 2019 The SSN GROUP has started construction of the "Franklin House" in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg. After completion, the future office building at Franklinstraße 26a will contain six stories and a penthouse-type floor, with approximately 11,500 m² of office space. The site covers approx. 3,600 m² and is centrally located near the Technical University of Berlin. Work on excavating the building pit began in February of this year. Completion of the entire office building is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2020.

District gives the green light for Neues Korallusviertel: 460 new apartments and a day-care centre will be built by the SSN Group.
Hamburg, Feb. 27th 2019. With the Neues Korallusviertel, on Thielenstrasse in the Wilhemsburg district of Hamburg, the SSN Group will realise one of the largest residential construction projects south of the city centre. The construction of 460 attractive new apartments, plus a day-care centre and commercial space, is planned to be completed by 2023/24. On the up-and-coming Elbe island, the SSN Group is developing attractive prospects for Hamburg's strained housing market, with a socially equitable mix of condominiums (24%), privately financed (56%) and subsidised (20%) rental apartments, especially for young families. The Hamburg-Mitte district has now given the project the go-ahead. The SSN Group will submit the building application in the coming months, and construction is scheduled to start in 2020.
SSN GROUP: Franklin House development project in Berlin forward sold to BNP Paribas REIM
Zug/Berlin, 14 February 2019. The Swiss SSN GROUP has concluded a forward funding deal to sell the Franklin House office project in Charlottenburg to BNP Paribas REIM.
SSN GROUP is planning and executing a modern office building at the site in Charlottenburg, with around 11,000 m2 of rental office on six storeys and one mezzanine. The site at 26a Franklinstrasse is centrally located, with a total area of some 3,600 m2. Benefiting from outstanding infrastructure and excellent transport links, the site borders onto the River Spree and the Landwehrkanal. The Technical University of Berlin and other academic institutions are within walking distance, and the Ernst-Reuter-Platz U-Bahn station – which is about ten minutes away on foot – provides a connection to the U2 line and several bus routes. SSN GROUP: Successful sale of the No.1 office and hotel development in Mannheim
Zug/Mannheim, 8 January 2019. SSN GROUP has sold the No.1 office and hotel development located directly at Mannheim main station to a well-known capital management company as part of an asset deal. The transaction price is just under EUR 100 million.
SSN GROUP is developing a new hotel and office complex located at the gateway to the Glückstein district in Mannheim's high-potential business district. On a plot of approximately 5,000 square meters, the development comprises six podium floors rising to 23 metres plus a high-rise building which will have a beacon function in the future Lindenhofplatz square. The total lettable space amounts to around 20,000 square metres. "No.1 is one of our landmark projects at the heart of this up-and-coming business district, where office and commercial rents are rising significantly," said SSN GROUP CEO Michael Tockweiler.
SSN GROUP: Building permit for office project „Franklin House“
Zug/Berlin, 18. Dezember 2018. The Swiss SSN GROUP received the building permit from Berlin’s Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf authority to construct the office project ‘Franklin House’. A modern office building with a net floor area of 10,800 sqm spread over six floors and an upper storey will be developed by mid-2020. The property is located in the vicinity of the Berlin headquarters of the car manufacturers Porsche, VW, Audi and Mercedes in Charlottenburg.
The start of construction will begin in February 2019 with the excavation pit. The start of the structural work is scheduled to start by the end of April 2019. The project is already attracting considerable interest from institutional investors for a so-called forward purchase.Continue reading
